On the Puli Launch Pad webpage you can buy 30x30 pixel pulipanels. A pulipanel costs HUF 10 000 + VAT. An owner of a pulipanel also becomes a Virtue sponsor, whose name will be taken by the Puli to the Moon! For details see the Terms and Conditions.
The pulipanels provide an opportunity to construct part of our launch pad here, where you can place an ad or your company’s logo. Upon clicking the ad, visitors can navigate to the webpage you defined.
100% of the income from selling the pulipanels will be spent to fulfill our mission.
Our scientists and engineers are doing their best to reach the Moon. But even though they do this voluntarily, a successful mission still requires a lot of money. Income gained from the pulipanels is spent on tools, equipment and running costs, as well as to fund our presentations and educational programs.
Our sponsoring strategy already overcame the first hurdle: we have successfully collected the 50,000 US$ registration fee for the GLXP in nearly 3 months. This however was only the first step towards the Moon. Building and testing our probe, and researching the necessary new technologies is an extremely expensive procedure, therefore we still need all the help we can get. And by building our virtual launchpad our supporters not only fund the engineering, but also our educational program: regular presentations on space and the Moon, free stargazing opportunities for all ages and our general mission to bring natural sciences closer to the public.
Team Puli consists of dedicated volunteers. Aside from professional scientists and engineers, enthusiastic students and people from many other walks of life take part in our activities. This is exactly one of our main goals: to show that everybody can take part in cutting edge science!
